We value your privacy. Security Fire Equipment Company, Inc. will not share, sell, trade, rent, or distribute your personal information to any other companies or organizations.
Shipping Rates & Policies
On-line purchases include shipping rates and are based on UPS or freight Ground delivery.
Fire Extinguisher orders only:
We INCLUDE the shipping and hazmat shipping costs when ordering online at Security Fire Equipment Company, Inc.
We cannot ship Fire Extinguishers outside of the Continental North America or any route that involves air transportation.
All fire extinguisher orders must ship via ground transport.
Pressurized extinguishers are considered hazardous materials and can not be shipped via the US. Postal Service (and therefore, APO or FPO addresses). Companies such as UPS and Fed-Ex require the shipper to be Hazmat certified.
In addition, extinguishers are heavy items. To avoid this hassle and keep costs down, we have most pressurized extinguishers shipped manufacturer-direct using ground freight transportation when feasible. The freight savings is significant and we can also offer relatively inexpensive shipping per unit on large orders.
Most drop-shipments are sent via Ground UPS and generally arrive within 5-7 business days.
Once your order has been processed and shipped, we will notify you of your Tracking Number via e-mail.
Customs Policy
International shipping is not available. All orders must originate and be shipped to US addresses.
Out-Of Stock or Backordered Merchandise
Although most orders are shipped complete within 1-2 business days, occasionally an item is backordered. In these rare instances, you will be contacted via e-mail within three business days from the time you place your order. If an item is backordered you will have the option to either cancel the backordered product or have it shipped to you when available without incurring any additional shipping charges.
Cancellation Charges
Due to manufacturer's policies, non-stock and special order material cannot be canceled once the order has been placed with the factory in most cases. In a few cases, canceled orders for special material, non-stock sizes or special sizes are subject to cancellation charges ...based on factory and/or distributor expense and material used.
Shortage or Damage in Transit
Please open your shipment when delivered and confirm that your order is complete and that all material in your order is undamaged before signing for receival. This is especially important when glass products are involved. If your order is damaged, note this on the shipping tag and refuse any boxes containing damaged products (please take receipt of boxes containing undamaged products). Contact us immediately at 877-287-5365. Failure to contact us within 7 days of receipt of goods constitutes acceptance.
Returns
If you have received a defective product, and you wish to return it, please contact us by e-mail or phone to receive an authorization to return. You are not responsible for the cost to return the product to us in the case of a product defect. See above for details on how to contact us.
Please specify your order number, the product being returned, and the reason for the return. Returned products that are not in salable condition will be charged a restocking/handling fee.
Fire Extinguisher order returns
ALL stored pressure fire extinguisher sales are final and nonrefundable
According to United States Federal Hazardous Materials Shipping Requirements, a consumer may not ship pressurized fire extinguishers unless registered as a Hazardous Materials Shipper.
Fire Extinguishers damaged during shipment or having a warranty-covered defect will be provided full warranty replacement
Please call us Toll Free at 877-287-5365 to receive replacement and disposal instructions for damaged fire extinguishers. We will do everything possible to ensure your satisfaction.
Payment Methods
We accept Checks, Money Orders, American Express, VISA, Master Card, Discover and Pay Pal. If for any reason the information you provide for credit card payment is incorrect, we will contact you. If we are unable to contact you within 72 hours, the order will be cancelled.

When sending a check or money order, be sure to get the shipping total from us before sending your order. Be sure to include the check or money order (including shipping) made payable to Security Fire Equipment Company, Inc., a list of the products you wish to order and your shipping address, contact information and telephone number.
For checks, also include your driver's license number and date of birth. Orders via Money Order will be shipped out upon receipt. Orders via Check will be shipped when the check clears.
Purchase Orders
We accept Purchase Orders from most businesses, schools, organizations and government agencies. Our Minimum Order for purchase orders is $400.00. Please use a credit card for orders under this amount.

Your Purchase Order should include:
- Purchase Order number
- Item number for each item
- Brief description of the item
- Desired quantity
- Preferred shipping method

Security (It’s in our name!)

Sales Tax
